Lake Banook Canoe Club

Lake
Banook
is the home to Lake Banook Canoe Clubs red and white colours. Nova Scotia's
first Canoe Club has worked hard and has hosted national and international events
for the past two decades and hundreds of local regattas since it’s beginnings
in the early 1900’s. The lake is one of the best in the world for canoe and
kayak racing and has been the site of two World Class Championships. Take a
walk along the boardwalk which boarder’s one shore and you might see one or
more of the teams working out. Lake
Banook
is located on Prince Albert Road
in Dartmouth
and is a gentle 25 minute walk from the Halifax/Dartmouth
ferry terminal.
